My Story

I began my journey into the world of jewellery by learning hands-on bench work from a traditional goldsmith in Chennai. Those early days at the workbench taught me the importance of patience, precision, and respect for craftsmanship — lessons that continue to guide my work today.

In 2005, I founded Abhinayaa, a space to explore my creative vision and bring handcrafted designs to life. Over the years, I have experimented with a variety of materials and techniques, allowing my work to evolve into a distinctive line that balances traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.

More recently, my creative journey has expanded beyond jewellery to include textiles and stitching, blending soft materials with the strength and structure of jewellery. This combination allows me to express my love for texture, movement, and storytelling through wearable art.

Each piece I create is a reflection of this journey — a fusion of technique, intuition, and experimentation, guided by a deep appreciation for handmade beauty.
